Fines:  President Swartz thought Tom Moore should pay a fine for not being there last week and he calculated it on the attendance last week which he stated was “89”.

Tom then fined everyone who didn’t do a happy buck today.

November birthdays were observed, Gary Myers, Dr. Volk and Student Rotarian Hannah Erdman.

Business meeting today:

Breakfast with Santa we will have a total of about 375 people including workers, so we will do three shifts.

Bruce Johnson/Comfort Suites has offered to have us there for, he would provide meal for Rotarians, we would have to pay for spouses.

December meeting schedule will remain as is. Except for the board meeting moved to Dec. 23rd.

Mary Myers spoke on improvements to our Rotary website which will be donated by Gary & Jackie Myers and done by their son-in-law.

Sandee Macht spoke on the Rotary Foundation and she has over 2000 points which is someone would like to get their Paul Harris recognition she would match $300.

Calendar update if all are sold we could see a $5200 profit for our club.

Jefferson County Literacy Council- boxes in businesses will stay where they are and President Swartz will donate $250 of discretionary funds to JCLC.

Information on the golf outing for Rotary in the Dells on May 6, 2010 was shared.

RYLA-the board approved sending three students this year.

Fort HealthCare sent a letter requesting $500 for the Paramedic Intercept unit for replacement of some of their equipment. A letter will be sent that if funds are available we possibly will be able to send something, not in the budget right now.

We need about $6,000 to meet our budget so we will need to do some fundraising to come out.

Dr. Volk proposed each member of our club give at least $25 and pool the money to purchase food for the food pantry now before Christmas.  If you want to contribute get your cash/check to Jim van Lieshout asap.  A thought “it’s not what you get it what’s you give”.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Adjourned by reciting the Four Way Test.
