Club Meetings

Noon Wednesdays
3rd Floor
Puerner Building
100 N. Main

Meeting place and date

In the early days the Jefferson Rotary met at the Jefferson House Hotel, followed by a meeting hall above the Robisch Hardware. From the hardware store, the club spent many great years at the Great Oaks Tea Room, which it eventually outgrew, necessitating the move to Meadow Springs in January 1988.

Meadow Springs closed in 2008 and the club moved to the 3rd Floor Ballroom of the Puerner Building, located at the corner of Racine and Main. We meet from Noon until 1:00 p.m. each Wednesday.

A different member of the club is assigned responsibility for the program each week. The last meeting of each month is the business meeting at which time no formal program is presented.

The Board of Directors meets at least monthly at a time and place designated by the President, but typically the hour before the regularly scheduled last meeting of the month. Board meetings are open to all members.

Where to make up a meeting

Rotarians are asked to make up missed meetings by attending meetings at other clubs. Not only will this improve your attendance record, but you will enjoy the fellowship at attending other Rotary Clubs. The Secretary has a directory of all Rotary Clubs around the world, listing the time and place of their weekly meetings. For your easy reference, you can make up locally at:

Fort Atkinson, 12:10, Mondays, Jensen Banquet Hall
Lake Mills, 12:15, Tuesdays, Pine Knoll
Sun Prairie, 7:15 a.m., Tuesdays, Colonial Country Club
Watertown, 12:10, Mondays, Watertown Country Club

Rotary Mottos : "Service Above Self", "He profits most who serves best"
